In an interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour, Borno State Governor, Mr. Kashim Shettima has said even if it means negotiating or making a deal with the devil to get back our girls, it should be done. He described boko haram as a bunch of raving lunatics taking cover under religion and have captivated a large number people.
Accompanied with the governor, Sharon Ikeazor, a member of Nigeria’s opposition, revealed that “most of the girls in school had their cell phones…they had contacted their parents” when they were kidnapped. Sharon revealed that the government could have saved the girls. See the video below:
