Owerri The capital city of eastern heartland Imo State and the acclaimed entertainment capital of Nigeria is a place to catch all the fun one could ever need and its people are friendly and very accommodating.
Owerri is known to be very busy at night especially at weekends as people from all round Nigeria go there to enjoy the weekend, it has also been noted one of the eastern states that seem to produce good talents in the music industry following the like of Neato c, Kelly handsome, Freewindz,etc
Music in Owerri ha been on flaming grounds and even without markets like alaba or even the top famous producers like Jay-sleek, Sarz, Jaystunt or good record labels around and also marketers the city has still been able to bring good music from great singers and "yet to blow" talented producers.
Thanks to famous radio stations Hot f.m 99.5 and Zanders f.m 107.5 who have been a form of maximum entertainment in the city adding support to Orient f.m 94.4 and Heartland f.m 100.5.
Owerri is also known to be the fore owners of Bongo music with the likes of sunny bobo , chima eke , sir foreigner etc and also the the very famous mbaise style of song the Abigbo. There are also joints, clubs and bars,many of which serve as extension to the bigger hotels . others like
